You can use YouTube on another device, such as an iPhone or iPad, then Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Over that year I bought a Mac book pro (mid 2012, 13 inch) this was my personal entertainment computer, an Imac (late 2013, 27 inch) that the company i work for bought me, only used for submitting bids to local municipalities (microsoft office and acrobat), an iphone 6s (calls, texts, and occasionaly camera, no real use of apps), a gen 3 apple TV box. Computer illiterate man with a Toshiba was told in late 2014 to early 2015 at an apple store in Orlando that Apples would not get "gummed up" like my pc, as they could continually be updated and would last.
